My family has frequented this bakery for years, and they continue to meet our expectations. Located in a small strip mall, there is barely any parking in the front -- I just parallel park by the sidewalk. Once you walk into the small bakery, you will notice a glass display of their baked goods. Heads up, they have heated buns too, but they aren't displayed! If you call ahead, they can have your order packed and ready for you, and you can also order a custom cake, which is my favorite item here.
As for the service, this bakery is family-run, as it has been for decades. There's usually one lady in the front, who will package your order and take your payment. Regarding the food, I absolutely love several items, including the napoleon (walnut cake), butter cream bun, dried pork bun, and sponge cake. Even though they're always better fresh, a brief time in the microwave/toaster oven is good enough! As for their custom cakes, they use a whipped icing that isn't as sweet as traditional American cakes. Topped with an assortment of fresh fruit, the cake looks and tastes beautiful. As for the inside, the texture and taste is like a sponge cake, but the best part is the filling - you can get mixed fruit, or chestnut (my favorite)!
The items may be a little expensive, but the quality is undefeated. Make sure to come early or call-in your order, they run out of certain items by the end of the day! -

Love that they take card! Be sure to look at the menu since a lot of the buns are hidden in the shelving. The prices are reasonable and the hours are great. We swing by here every time we go to Miami. All in all a lovely Asian bakery to visit.

This place has been here for over two decades. GREAT food! Not a lot of parking in front, better to park in the back. Accepts card! Highly recommend!!

Visited this hidden gem Sunday since my husband was on the hunt for shoopoo (now sure if correct spelling) we found this place! The bbq pork buns were amazing and fresh, and the cheese cake is really good too. You can tell they take pride in the food. Prices are fair and you're greeted with a warm welcome smile

This place is a gem in Miami. Its existence alone is worth 3 stars. And the fact that the products are actually authentic gets them another star and they taste good too earns them the fifth star. Now like many other reviews have said, do not expect your typical fancy Asian bakery store with the pretty displays. This place is dark inside and in a questionable shopping center. The store is cramped and it's pretty much just a counter as soon as you walk in. Seriously, they can't fit more than 3 customers in the store at once. They do not have all their products displayed so your best bet is to look at the menu (on Yelp) and know what you want to order.
So far, I've only tried their savory products and they've all been tasty and fresh. It's hard to impress me with a simple roll cake so I didn't try it. I wish I had because now I'm reading everyone's review and apparently, they're good. I'll definitely be back to try those and maybe even order a taro/chestnut birthday cake.
